Saudações soldados,
neste sábado (23/09), data de início da Primavera, declaro a reabertura do EGCP Histórias. No âmbito pessoal, o que me motivou renová-lo foi o desejo de treinar a minha escrita e confirmar-me na vocação literária. Além disso, quero ajudar a Elite com seus soldados pelo incentivo à cultura, à leitura e à escrita, indispensáveis para uma formação humana completa.
Como ele vai funcionar?
Nesse servidor, todos os soldados poderão escrever sua própria história, desde que ela esteja dentro do universo das armies e siga as orientações prescritas. Para se tornar um escritor, o membro deverá pedir esse cargo a um dos administradores, que disponibilizarão um canal onde o interessado deverá mandar o conceito e o episódio piloto da sua obra. Não será avaliada a capacidade artística ou de escrita do autor, apenas se as referidas orientações são seguidas. Cada conto terá um canal próprio e poderá ser discutido em #discussão-literária.
Por que no início da Primavera?
O famoso escritor brasileiro Lima Barreto (1881 - 1922) classificou maio como “o mês sagrado pela poesia”. Você talvez esteja se perguntando: “Maio? O que ele tem a ver com a Primavera? Não é Outono nesse mês?” De fato, na ótica do hemisfério sul, esse é o mês das folhas caducas; no norte, porém, é a estação em que as flores desabrocham.
Esse fenômeno sempre foi grande fonte de inspiração para os poetas, que viam nas flores o símbolo da juventude, da vida, da liberdade. Assim, não existe data melhor para inaugurar esse projeto, que deseja usar a arte liberal da literatura para vivificar a juventude da Elite!
Qual é a importância da literatura?
Aristóteles (384 a.C - 322 a.C) dizia em sua Poética que a literatura é superior à história, pois enquanto esta narra fatos específicos de maneira seca, aquela conta valores universais de forma bela e cativante. Do mesmo modo, eu, que escrevi a maior parte da história da EGCP, concordo com o filósofo, e agora escrevo narrativas que, apesar de fictícias, expressam verdades que a mera narração de fatos não conseguiria expressar.
Além disso, a literatura melhora o vocabulário, expande a imaginação, usa todas as potências da linguagem — que é a carne do pensamento e do raciocínio lógico —, incrementa a bagagem cultural do leitor e é uma ótima fonte de entretenimento.
Em suma, o meu objetivo é ser útil à EGCP com o pouco que tenho e posso oferecer. Espero que gostem!

This Saturday (23/09), the start of Spring, I declare the reopening of EGCP Histórias (EGCP Stories, in English). On a personal level, what motivated me to renew it was the desire to train my writing and confirm my literary vocation. Furthermore, I want to help the Elite with their soldiers by encouraging culture, reading and writing, which are essential for a complete human formation.
How will it work?
On this server, all soldiers will be able to write their own story, as long as it is within the armies universe and follows the prescribed guidelines. To become a writer, the member must request this role to one of the administrators, who will give access to a channel where the interested one must send the concept and the pilot episode of his work. The author's artistic or writing ability will not be assessed, only whether the aforementioned guidelines are followed. Each story will have its own channel and can be discussed in #discussão-literária (literary-discussion).
Unfortunately, we don’t intend to translate the stories, unless an author wants to do so.
Why early spring?
The famous Brazilian writer Lima Barreto (1881 - 1922) classified May as “the sacred month for poetry”. Brazilians may be wondering: “May? What does it have to do with Spring? Isn’t it autumn this month?” In fact, from the perspective of the southern hemisphere, this is the month of deciduous leaves; in the north, however, it is the season when flowers bloom.
This phenomenon has always been a great source of inspiration for poets, who saw flowers as a symbol of youth, life and liberty. There is, therefore, no better date to inaugurate this project, which aims to use the liberal art of literature to vivify Elite youth!
What is the importance of literature?
Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC) said in his Poetics that literature is superior to history, because while the latter narrates specific facts in a dry way, the former tells universal values in a beautiful and captivating way. In the same way, I, who wrote most of EGCP’s history, agree with the philosopher, and now I write narratives that, despite being fictitious, express truths that the mere narration of facts would not be able to express.
Furthermore, literature improves vocabulary, expands imagination, uses all the potencies of language — which is the meat of thought and logical reasoning —, increases the reader's cultural background and is a great source of entertainment.
In short, my goal is to be useful to EGCP with the little I have and can offer. Hope you enjoy it!
